I am passionate about restoring flourishing relationships between land, life, and each other. I love using the power of branding to cultivate deeper relationships with our beyond human relatives, amplify Indigenous stewardship practices, and drive community-centered conservation.
I currently serve as Director of Communications at the National Tropical Botanical Garden, headquartered in Hawaiʻi. With a network of five botanic gardens, preserves, and research centers, we work to restore flourishing relationships between plants, people, and place through a biocultural approach. I previously served as the Director of Education & Engagement for the California Native Plant Society (CNPS). There, I led statewide campaigns to build awareness and power action for pivotal environmental issues in California, including wildfire, plant poaching, native plant horticulture, and Indigenous stewardship.
I am continually indebted to Native mentors and allies from Hawaiʻi, California, and Baja California who have guided my commitment and passion for environmental advocacy.
